Now when hot products come out we don’t only get unboxing videos, we also get disassembly ones. And why not? The make more sense–you’re definitely going to unbox that PS3 Slim after you buy it, but you probably won’t have the guts to take the $299 console apart, piece by piece.

Lucky for us, iFixit got their hands on a PlayStation 3 Slim and tore it down, it looks like they did a clean enough job that the console could survive the whole ordeal. In a 27 step procedure they took it completely apart and took some great images of the internals, include the Cell processor. But if you are too lazy for all that clicking you can watch the video above and check out what’s inside the Slim.
